About me
My name is Dave Lowe and I have been working in the UK IT industry for the last 14 years or so. I started to write this blog as a means of developing my own skills further and to hopefully provide assistance to anyone looking for solutions to the problems I have faced. My inspiration for topics is generally issues that I come across in my daily work life but I will happily attempt to anwer any requests. You can contact me via and I will try to answer any questions.
My principal area of expertise is web-based ASP.NET development using a variety of front-end technologies such as Javascript, Silverlight, WebServices etc. Although my recent work has been principally focussed toward the UI end of the web experience I also have significant experience of both RDBMS design and middle tier business design and development. I like to keep up to date with the latest movements and trends in the world of software development and am a keen reader of various blogs such as those of Scott Hanselman and Rick Strahl.
I enjoy learning to use new technologies and currently hold the following certifications:
If you have any questions or enquiries regarding consultancy or contract work please dont hestitate to contact
